MINGORA, Dec 20: Fazalur Rehman alias Nono, General Secretary, Pakistan People’s Party, Swat, has welcomed the decision of Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, the former NWFP chief minister, to return to his country in the near future.
In a statement on Thursday, the PPP leader alleged that the former chief minister had been implicated in a false case. Sherpao, he said, always respected the judiciary and held it in high esteem, but certain elements were trying to tarnish his image.
