3 shot dead in Turbat

QUETTA, Sept 6: Three persons were shot dead on Saturday in Turbat town, police said.

The three persons, identified as Lal Mohammad, Mohammad Hasil and Khuda-i-Dad, were attacked by a group of armed men while they were on their way back to their home on their way to home. The assailants were riding a pick-up truck.

Assailants later escaped from the scene of the crime after abandoning their vehicle.

The bodies of the deceased were later shifted to hospital by police and other authorities concerned.

The police cited an old feud as being the motive of the crime.

A senior police office of the Turbat police told this correspondent that Elahi Bukhsh and others had been nominated in the FIR lodged by relatives of the deceased.

No arrest was reported till the filing of this report.
