ISLAMABAD, Sept 6: US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Christina Rocca is due to visit India next week.

She will not be coming to Pakistan during this trip, a US embassy spokesman said.

Ms Rocca was in Pakistan in May with US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

She will be in India from Sept 9 to 15 to meet Indian officials for discussions on bilateral and regional issues and other subjects of mutual concern.
