Jamali, Durrani condole deaths in Dir

ISLAMABAD, Sept 6: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani have, in separate messages, expressed their grief over the death of 30 people who died in lightning strike incidents in Dir.

In his message of condolence to the bereaved families, Prime Minister Jamali, while expressing his grief over the incident, prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.

In his message, the NWFP Chief Minister said he was shocked over the incident, adding that he prayed for the departed souls. Provincial Information Minister Asif Iqbal Daudzai also condoled with the victims.—APP
