THE Indian consulate in Islamabad has reportedly expressed its concerns about the polio vaccination of intending travellers to India from Pakistan.
This may be a prelude to the coming days when a Pakistani traveller may be stopped at any foreign international airport and subjected to a blood test for polio anti-body titre.
Now that polio-vaccination cards are acquired by some people in the wrong way, I bet it would be Pakistani VIPs who might be deported for low or no anti-body titre. Travellers are advised to undergo oral polio vaccination at least six weeks before travelling.
