Published September 5, 2003

KARACHI, Sept 4: Sindh Minister for religious and minority affairs Dr Irfan Gul Magsi has said that Sindh is a land of peace and religious tolerance, where saints and Sufis have been conveying the message of love for centuries as such no conspiracy to sabotage the peace and to promote terrorism could succeed.

Speaking at a meeting of ulema in his office, who came from all over the province, Dr Magsi asked them to play their role in promoting religious tolerance and understanding to foil the designs of the enemies.

He said the ulema and intellectuals could play an important role in establishing peace in the province to put Sindh on the road to progress and prosperity.
