Hackers claiming to be Indians defaced the website of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday, saying they attacked the website in response to a recent statement over Kashmir by Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
“This hack comes in response to the Bilawal Bhutto's Statement about KASHMIR,” wrote the hackers, who also posted the Indian flag on the website.
“Stop giving such childish/stupid comments about KASHMIR or else you will be responsible for such High Profile Hacks,” they said.
The attack is the second such defacement of a website by Indian hackers purportedly in response to Bilawal's statements about the disputed region, in which he was reported to have said that his party would take entire Kashmir region back Pakistan.

“I will take back Kashmir, all of it, and I will not leave behind a single inch of it because, like the other provinces, it belongs to Pakistan,” he was quoted as saying.
Pakistani hackers have also taken down several Indian websites in the recent past.
The fresh string of tit-for-tat attacks by Indian and Pakistani hackers comes amidst a rise in tensions across the Line of Control (LoC) dividing the disputed Kashmir region.
At least 19 people were killed last week in days of skirmishes between the armies of the neighbouring countries.

Very bad and condemnable! All Indians should condemn this. As an Indian, I would feel proud if Indians did an innovation that no one else in the world has been able to achieve. Indulging in this type of tactics is kiddish and does not bring dignity to a nation.
My countrymen, please stop this sort of nonsense! A court is a respectable and honourable place. It should be venerated, not insulted by such dastardly acts!

I strongly believe that this is a set-up by vested interests to play games with India. For a small talk by Bilawal, India has no need to go to the extent of defacing websites like - PPP or LHC with Indian flag on it. It makes no sense even for supposedly Indian hackers who gain nothing from out of this

This causes disruption for a day or so and they are back on their feet. Unethical cyber attacks happen on both countries by hackers operating on either side. IMO this is no more than a nuisance and has no real impact. Politician on both sides use emotional hacking to fire up the masses.
Core issue is Kashmir and until that is resolved peace would never prevail.

Hacking is illegal. Hackers should better use their knowledge & skills in some constructive work. In past many Indian sites are being hacked by Pakistani as well.

Hackers from both sides should be dealt with----- it can lead to some thing serious if hackers become bolder. I say both India and Pakistan should ATLEAST work together on this issue. But again why would politicians on both sides listen to common man.

Surprisingly, the Indians are more concerned about Bilawal's statement. This second hacking is again challenging Bilawal, why? Does India wants Bilawal to be a popular leader of Pakistan? How can we be sure that the hacking is done across the border? Putting any country's flag after hacking is very easy, someone needs to investigate this further before we start Indian bashing and Bilawal jai jai!

Pls help to answer a few questions that comes to my mind.
The news says, Hacker has posted a note that says, it was against Bilawal statement about Kashmir. OK, it could be an Indian or any mischievous person who can post this and claim Indian or any other national. Has it somehow verified that the computer used for this was in India. I think from its IP address, it could be traced and I'm sure once an IP address is given to Indian government they will trace out the person. It is a cybercrime and easily traceable and punishable.
At the end whoever did it should be punished.

This is a childish joke. Today India is defacing our govt websites as we twiddle our thumbs despite having some of the best brains in the world. Where would UK’s NHS be without Pakistani doctors ? Where would Google,IBM,Microsoft etc be without Pakistani engineers ? Where would the wall st banks be without our economists ? Its a tragedy that our leaders have let us down. It is all in branding. Bigger conspiracies have been made against Pakistanis in the past. In 1984, a Lahore GCU college professor by name Abdus Sattar successfully transmitted data bits between 2 networks. In essence, so huge the impact was of his research it has changed the face of this world and how humans live forever. What is beyond tragic is the fact that Abdus Sattar was never given credit. Infact the DARPA in US took Sattar sahib’s idea and extended it to call it the “internet”.
