Rangers picket attacked

JACOBABAD, Sept 3: A gang of outlaws attacked and destroyed a rangers’ picket in Bugti Colony, Kandhkot, on Wednesday.

However, no loss of life was reported.

The exchange of fire between the bandits and rangers personnel continued for about one hour. The bandits, who later fled, also fired rockets.

FC PERSONNEL ATTACKED: One bandit was injured in an exchange of fire bet-

ween bandits and Frontier Corps personnel in RD-109 area, Kashmor taluka, on the Sindh-Balochistan border on Wednesday.

The bandits later escaped, taking away their injured accomplice.

KILLED: A man was shot dead over an old enmity in the town of Kandhkot the other day.

Three persons shot at Ali Bilawal Sohiani in the main tower bazaar Kandhkot, injuring him seriously.

He was rushed to the Kandhkot hospital but could not survive.
