PESHAWAR, Dec 20: National Awami Party Pakistan (NAPP) Information Secretary Shakir Buneri has said that the United States and Great Britain had failed to achieve their prime objectives in Afghanistan of arresting or killing Taliban chief Mulla Mohammad Umar and Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.

Speaking at an Eid Milan party organized here by the Progressive Thinkers Forum, he said the coalition forces should play their role in restoration of peace in the region. He said war was not the solution to any problem. He said democracy was the only solution to the problems.—PPI
