KHAIRPUR, Sept 2: The Gambat police on Tuesday arrested a man who had accused two minor children of Karo-kari and registered a case against him.

One week back, five-year-old Moti’s uncle, Allah Jurio Shanbani, tried to kill her and six-year-old Liaquat in the Noro Khuhro village, Gambat taluka, after alleging that they had illicit relations.

To settle the dispute, a Jirga, headed by Kot Diji PML-F president Noor Khan Chandio, was held on the directions of DPO Fateh Sheer Joyo on Tuesday.

The Jirga declared the two children innocent and fined the accused.

The accused expressed his displeasure over the judgment and refused to pay the fine.

Later, the TPO produced both the parties before the DPO who after listening them directed the police to arrest Allah Jurio and register a case against him.
