KARACHI: Pakistani actor Anoushay Abbasi — last seen as Arifa (Afzal’s sister) in the super hit drama Pyarey Afzal — on Monday wed Ainan Arif Abbasi.

The actor had shared her plans to marry Abbasi, the son of late cricketer, Taslim Arif Abbasi earlier this month. Anoushay shared some dholki pictures with her fans on her official Facebook page.

"I wanted to share this precious moment with my fans so here are the pictures from our dholki last night remember us in dua's," the actor said on Facebook.

Anoushay hails from a talented family of writers and artists. Her father Zubair Abbasi was a famous fiction writer, while her brother Shamoon Abbasi and step-sister Javeria Abbasi are well-known actors.

Ainan is also associated with the showbiz industry and made his acting debut with Humayun Saeed’s Main Hoon Shahid Afridi. His mother, Rubina Arif, is also a senior artist in the industry.
