Published September 3, 2003

KARACHI, Sept 2: Chief of the Sindh National Front (SNF) Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on Tuesday said the government had no money to build the Kalabagh dam nor were the international donor agencies ready to finance the contentious project which had been rejected by three out of the four provinces of the country.

The SNF chief, in a press statement, said the fact that the dam project had been buried was acknowledged by President Musharraf who in a TV interview had said “Forget about the Kalabagh dam.”— PPI
