SARGODHA: Twenty feeders damaged by floods have been made operational, restoring electricity supply to 378 villages of Sargodha, claims Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Superintendent Aamil Siddiqui.

Talking to Dawn here on Sunday, he said during flood supply of electricity to Bhera, Jhawarian, Sahiwal, Shahour, Takhat Hazara, Midh Ranjha, Sail Mor and other adjoining villages got severed.

He said under the direction of the Fesco chief engineer, employees worked day and night and restored power supply to all villages.

He said feeders were repaired while workshop for repairing transformers was also made functional at Sargodha. He said defective transformers would be repaired at Sargodha which were previously sent to Faisalabad and owing to workload people had to face inconvenience.
