ISLAMABAD, Sept 1: Farrukh Zaman and Majid Khan finished second and third respectively in the National League-cum-trials for selecting Pakistan squad for the forthcoming World Team Championship in Vienna.
Farrukh defeated Majid 3-0 in the decisive match at the Roshan Khan Sports Complex on Monday. Both players had gone into the game having won seven matches each in the league.
Khayal Muhammad beat Zubair Ali 3-0 to take fourth place. Top ranked Mansoor Zaman had been given exemption from the trials.
