KARACHI: Young man kidnapped in DHA

KARACHI, Sept 1: A youth was kidnapped by unidentified men in Defence police limits on Monday.

According to the police and the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee officials, Kishwar Zaidi, working for a multinational firm, complained that his son Raza Abbas had gone to Khayaban-i-Sehr and did not return home. Raza’s car (ACS-650) was later found abandoned in Azizabad police limits.

The family suspected that Raza Abbas was kidnapped for ransom.

Meanwhile, police arrested Shahzad and Kamran in Gulistan-i-Jauhar and recovered two TT pistols from their possession.

Police said that Shahzad was allegedly involved in kidnapping Ashfaq and Bilal and heavy amount of ransom had been paid for their release.
