LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered a third-party evaluation of performance of medical teams working in flood-hit districts of the province.

The health department has constituted teams comprising senior medics of teaching institutions to conduct the third-party evaluation. These teams will also conduct a survey regarding disease pattern and their prevention in the flood-hit areas, according to a handout issued on Thursday.

Health Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik allotted affected districts to different medical colleges to materialise the scheme.
