LAHORE: A cold storage has been built at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) for Rs1.5 million to preserve medicine and injections.

The facility was provided with financial assistance of philanthropists and donors in order to address the serious issue of preserving costly medicines, an LGH administration official said.

Sharing information in a meeting held on Tuesday, the official said earlier costly medicines and injections were stored in a refrigerator, but now a capacious and proper cold storage was available for keeping them under required temperatures.
