KASUR: The district administration organised walks and seminars in Kasur, Pattoki, Kot Radha Kishan and Chunian to create awareness among people regarding dengue.

Executive officers of various departments along with their staff remained present in their offices and cleaned rooms and roofs to avoid presence of dengue larva. Government schools and colleges also remained open and were cleaned.

The major walk was led by DCO Muhammad Shahid that started from Kutchehry Chowk and concluded at the shrine of Bulleh Shah.

The DCO urged the people to stand by the government in eliminating dengue and follow instructions of the health department. EDO (Health) Dr. Abdul Shakoor was also present.
