PESHAWAR, Aug 29: A number of new development projects will be completed at a cost of Rs158.5 million in district Swat.

The deputy director works and services has directed the authorities concerned to make sure that the schemes are completed in time, a statement said.

The development schemes in Swat were initiated by the present government on the recommendations of provincial ministers Hussain Ahmad Kanju and Qari Mehmood and MNAs and MPAs belonging to the district.

The official said Rs16.5 million would be spent on the Chail Bashagram Road whereas Rs80 million were allocated for construction of hospitals in Madyan, Matta and Saidu. The rest of the amount would be spent on construction and  maintenance of roads, hospitals and schools.
