LAHORE: Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs2.1 million in five major strikes in the city on Sunday, police said.

Three robbers barged into the house of Shahab Hussain in N-Block, Phase I, Defence Housing Authority and took away cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs900,000.

Two robbers stormed into the house of Jameel in Tariq Block, Garden Town and escaped after looting cash and valuables worth Rs500,000.

Two robbers entered a medical store in Main Market and looted Rs240,000 and a mobile phone.

Two robbers intercepted Talib Hussian and his family on Sehar Road and robbed them of cash and valuables worth Rs200,000.

Two robbers waylaid Mehmood Ahmad and his family near Awami Flats and deprived him of cash and valuables worth Rs280,000.
