Sultan Rahi lives

Published August 28, 2014

Hearing the bluster and brag of Imran Khan in the afternoon and evening sessions of the PTI sit-ins, one is inexorably reminded of Sultan Rahi, the hero of Punjabi films of yesteryear.

The resemblance in the performance of the two — for want of a better word — performers, hits the eye and one is made to feel that a film studio is a better place for the gentleman performing at D-Chowk than the platform of a political party.
