MANSEHRA, July 22: MMA Naib Amir Maulana Samiul Haq has said that the JUI would continue its struggle for the enforcement of Shariat in the country which is the basis of the creation of Pakistan.

He was speaking to the office-bearers and workers of the Mansehra JUI (S) and the MMA workers at a local mosque here on Tuesday.

Maulana Sami said all conspiracies being hatched against the Madaris would be foiled by the workers of the religio-political parties and Pakistan would not become centre of secular forces.

Maulana Sami said the ulema were the harbingers of unity among the Ummah. “We formed Milli Yakjehti Council, Pakistan Afghanistan Defence Council and the Muttahida Majlis-i- Amal (MMA) to forge unity among their ranks which was welcomed by the people who voted in favour of the MMA candidates in majority in the October 2002 elections,” he maintained.

He said the six religious parties’ alliance has been brought in to being to safeguard the interests of Pakistan as an Islamic ideological state in particular and those of the entire Ummah in general.

Maulana Sami said the rulers on the one hand were bent on to sacrifice the vital national interests to please their masters in the USA and were out to establish diplomatic ties with Israel on the other. He warned that the people of Pakistan would foil all their attempts.
