ISLAMABAD, July 22: A nine-member Chinese businessmen delegation is due to arrive here on Wednesday to explore the possibilities of investment in oil and gas and telecommunication sectors.

The delegation led by president of Daqing Petroleum Engineering International, China, and managing director of China Mobile Shanxi Commission will stay in Pakistan for about a week.

The delegation will have in depth discussions with senior officials of the ministries of petroleum and privatization and OGDCL and heads of private oil companies, including PPL, PSO and PARCO, to expand further business cooperation between the two countries.

Daqing Petroleum Engineering International is a subsidiary of Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau — the largest enterprise in China in terms of sales. It has been engaged in various countries in the petroleum technical service, exploration and development of oil and gas fields as well as the export of petroleum equipment and petrochemical products.—APP
