Three injured in grenade attack

LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 19: Three people were injured in a hand-grenade attack in a village, 8km from here, on Monday.

Saadullah Khan alias Kelash of Mohallah Ismail Khel in the Abba Khel village allegedly threw the Russian made hand-grenade into the house of Dilawar Khan. Saifur Rehman, Habibur Rehman and Rashid Khan, an outlaw, were wounded when the device exploded with a bang.

Two of the victims were brought to the district headquarters hospital here, but Rashid Khan, who is wanted to the police for his alleged involvement in different cases, was taken to an unknown place.

Saadullah fled the scene after the attack reasons for which could not be known.

The Lakki police registered a case against the accused.
