KARACHI, July 20: A young man was shot dead over a family dispute in Mochko on Sunday.

Police said that Mohammad Ibrahim, 23, brother-in-law of Altaf Husain, came for a visit to his house in Mawaghgoth, from Larkana on Sunday.

During his stay at the house, both developed a dispute in which Altaf shot his brother-in-law dead with his rifle.

Police said that some six years back, Ibrahim had kidnapped Altaf’s sister and married her.

The couple had three children from their marriage. However, Altaf surrendered before the Mochco police.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem examination.

SUICIDE: A man died on Sunday, after attempting suicide earlier in his house in Lyari.

Police said Mohammad Ali, 38, had consumed some poisonous substance in Kalakot after getting frustrated over his joblessness.
