GWADAR: Three people were killed and six others injured in a clash between two groups in Zamran area of Kech district on Friday night.

Official sources said that members of one group attacked a place of the other group on Thursday night and kidnapped two of its members.

After receiving information about the kidnapping, the other group attacked the first group on Friday. Three people were killed in the clash and six injured.

Some sources claimed that six people were killed, but official sources did not confirm it.

Meanwhile, security personnel defused an explosive device which was placed by unidentified people at the roadside in Dank area, a locality on the outskirts of Turbat town.

The device was apparently placed to target security forces.
