KARACHI: Zone-I and Zone-III emerged winners in the opening round of matches in the KCCA Inter-zonal T20 Colour-kit Ramazan Cricket League her the other day.

Zone-I defeated Zone-II by 17 runs at the National Stadium with the highlight being off-spinner Yasir Hussain’s brilliant spell of 5-10 that earned him the man-of-the-match award from former Test batsman ad current chairman of the junior selection committee Basit Ali.

In the other match at the TMC Ground, Zeeshan Jamil scored 68 with the help of nine fours and a brace of sixes as Zone-III beat Zone-IV by 45 runs.
