This is with reference to the government decision to allow only one visitor to receive or see off a relative.

Regardless of the premise of the directive, one person is an unreasonable number, particularly when the passenger is a senior citizen travelling alone or a lone woman travelling with her children. In a normal case, two people are necessary to receive or see off a passenger in terms of luggage etc.

However, with the new directive in force, people will be compelled to use hidden methods to infiltrate more than one person, particularly when a driver takes the owner to receive guests ( as the driver and the owner make two persons) or when any emergency arises.

Hence, a new wave of corruption will emerge. The CAA should reassess this matter to permit at least two people to receive or see off a passenger.
