LAHORE: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has said only one person will be allowed to accompany passengers at the airport from Sunday (tomorrow).

The CAA on Friday informed the passengers and the general public that only one person (family member or friend) would be allowed to enter the airport for receiving the passenger(s).

“The access to the terminal building will not be allowed to more than one person for seeing off or receiving passenger(s) by the security personnel deployed there,” the CAA said.

It said the decision had been taken as a measure to beef up security at the airports.
