The United Nations’ International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking falls on June 26 each year to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society. This day is supported by individuals, communities and various organizations all over the world.

Maybe if Afghanistan never cultivated poppy fields, the USA would have never used the pretense it did to attack innocent Afghanis. Now heroin is smuggled into the US by military criminals and instead of oil as with Iraq, they are wallowing in drug profits from heroin sales in the billions of dollars. Great job USA!
