Dawn.com presents a visual overview of what stories you, the visitor, read in the last 30 days, compared to stories that featured at the bottom of the page views barrel.

Page views presented below are of individual articles based on Google Analytics data for the period May 25-June 24, 2014. Out of the top 1,000 stories in terms of page views, we selected articles based on importance editorially as well as magnitude in terms of overall page views. Comparisons were made based on juxtapositions that revealed interesting trends in audience choices.

While a number of factors must be taken into consideration such as layout, publishing time and social media, the exercise provides a general snapshot that captures what stories gained top of mind, compared to those that did not. This is part of a monthly exercise to show page view trends.
