MITHI: Embezzlement alleged

MITHI, July 14: The vice-chairman of the Zakat committee, Hamirabah, Diplo taluka, has urged authorities of the Zakat and Ushr department to take legal action against the chairman of the committee for embezzling funds.

Talking to journalists here on Friday, the vice-chairman, Bhai Khan, alleged that the chairman, Ghulam Hussain, had withdrawn Rs80,000 of the Zakat funds from a bank with fake counter signatures of the vice-chairman.
