Bushra pulls out

ISLAMABAD, July 12: Top seed Bushra Haider has pulled out of the 9th PC Bhurban National Women’s Championship because of her examinations, a spokesman for the Pakistan Squash Federation said on Saturday.

“She has regretted that she would be unable to compete as her exams dates clash with those of the championship,” the spokesman said.

The championship is to be held from July 15 to 17 and it is likely that UK-based Carla Khan, who won the title last year, would defend her title. “We are hoping that she takes part in the tournament but so far we have received no confirmation from her.”
