Naseer strikes for Nawab XI

KARACHI, July 12: Substitute Naseer Ahmad struck twice in Nawab XI’s 4-0 victory over Bhutta Mohammadan in the KASB Premier League at CDGK Stadium on Saturday.

Hapless Bhutta Mohammadan went 1-0 down in the 14th minute, Abdul Jabbar slamming home a Faqeer Mohammad pass. Ishtiaq Ahmad was on target after receiving a perfect Bashir Ahmad pass in the 22nd minute.

Naseer came off the bench in the 36th minute and tormented the opposition with his dribbling runs through the defence to score two rapidfire goals.

Ishtiaq did some excellent work to provide Naseer a golden chance in the 42nd minute. Naseer again capitalised on a Ishtiaq pass barely 60 seconds later to seal the fate of the game.

Sunday’s fixture: LLWC v Pakistan Petroleum at CDGK Stadium.
