Saad shines as CCC beat HK

KARACHI, July 12: Saad Umar hit a fine 69 in Cricket Coaching Centre’s seven-wicket win over the visiting Hong Kong Under-19 side in a practice game at PCB Regional Academy Ground here on Saturday.

Saad hit six fours and a brace of sixes in his dashing knock as Ahmed Mustufa’s CCC romped home for the loss of three wickets in 35 overs. Osama Shah contributed 31.

Hong Kong’s leg-spinner Muzammil Ali took 2-16.

Earlier, Hong Kong were restricted to 151-8 in their 50 overs.

Nadeem Ahmed top-scored with 33 and Ahmed Irfan made 29.

Leg-spinner Saeed Baig claimed three for 15 while paceman Furqan Zia had two for 15.
