Very sad news, he jumped to save the kid he brought there, he felt that he was responsible for the safety of kids, so he jumped to save the kid. May Allah give him highest rank in Jannah.

In Pakistan selfless deeds are seldom seen. The few ones are from poor or middle class. Allah (SWT) has grant him Shahadat. He was a nobel person without any doubt.

However, deeds no matter how little are done from every strata, upper, middle, lower. obviously if there is 1 million elite, and 1 % are selfless that means 10,000, if there are 30 million middle class, and one percent means 300,000 selfless, and if you see lower classes say of 100 million people, you are talking about 1 million people. therefore its only natural more good and bad will come from the highest concentrations of people.

Independent of his political affiliation as the deed draws on inspiration from his political views, this is an outright courageous act. I have been to Balakot and I have seen the river there with all its prowess and fury. To even step into this scares the daylight out of somebody. Nasrullah exhibit sense of responsibility, courage and above all humanity. May the Almighty rest his soul in peace and grant him a martyr's place in Jannah.

No sacrifice can be greater than giving own life to save others. May Allah grant Jannah to both of them and patience to the families and friends. May Allah make all of us as brave as this gentleman is.

Anyone who has been to Balakot and know how river Khunhar flows, its scary to even imagine trying to swim in it, top that with icy cold water. Absolute bravery and selfless act can push a man to act like these. May Allah bless both departed souls and grant them Janat-e-Firdous. Ameen.

Inallia hi wa inna ilyhi rajioon. May ALLAH grant him a high place in Jannah and give his family the patience they need. From the picture, he looks young and must have a young family as well.

I know Nasurullah Sajji, when he was a young kid, growing up few houses down from us. He belongs to a honorable family. His father as well was very kind to us being the neighborhood kids. Sajji later on becomes a politician. I met him in Karachi after 25 years, he was down to earth and humble. He introduces me to his family as a common man, just like a man who is meeting his friends after long time. I was touched. After meeting him, I for a moment thought that not all politicians in Pakistan are selfish and thief, as we think of them sitting from USA. He came across to me who has conscience and courage, ability and desire, will as well as pain of the common person. What he has done shows great courage, which will forever will be remembered. He left a message to all selfish politicians to look into mirror and ask themselves, how they would have reacted seeing a child getting drowned? May Allah grant him the highest level in paradise and give peace to his family members.

His worldview taught him to do such a selfless act, sacrificing one's life without any strong worldview is not possible. These are the people who believe in the rewards that their God has promised them.

one should never judge a man by the party he belongs to... indeed a brave man laying his life to save others. this act should be praised by all... saving a life is saving a whole the humanity...folks we should reflect our moral, religious, and political traditions for the respect, for the dignity and for saving of human life.
