Imran smells conspiracy to detach N Waziristan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Tuesday said it appears as if a conspiracy is being hatched to detach North Waziristan from the country and vowed to bring the matter to Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif’s notice, DawnNews reported.
Briefing the media after attending a meeting of the party’s core committee here, he said that he will meet with the army chief and appeal to him to stop the military offensive in North Waziristan.
The PTI chief said he witnessed similar situation in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) during the military operation before it was detached from rest of the country in 1971.
The cricketer-turned-politician claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had failed in negotiating with Taliban.
Reiterating his stance on alleged rigging in the May 11 poll, Khan said the government was scared of verifying thumb impressions in four constituencies where his party pointed out alleged rigging took place.
He also alleged that Punjab government used its ‘machinery’ to rig the recently held by-poll in the province.
The PTI chairman assailed the government for recent hike in electricity prices, saying the hike during the five-year rule of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has been superseded by the prevailing government in just one year.
“It feels as if the PML-N government is not afraid of anyone,” said Khan while mentioning 14 foreign trips of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif since assuming power last year. Despite all these trips, the government has failed to bring any foreign investment in the country, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that his province was being treated like an ‘orphan’. He complained about non-issuance of development funds by Islamabad and its noncooperation on the matters relating to power, water and wheat.

It can be guessed now how eccentric minded is this leader. East Pakistan was totally a separate country away from west Pakistan. There was a sea between east and west . East Pakistan was connected with India and the people of East Pakistan were misguided. Now whole nation is behind army. MR. Khan keep it in mind.

No conspiracy was hatched when Talibans were planning and executing attacks from N.W and no conspiracy was hatched when Taliban were running a state within a state, or when they were butchering innocents to in order to implement their own brand of sharia, or when minorities were being targeted. The conspiracy is being hatched only after the operation has initiated against the TTP.

Curious I don't recall "Our Brothers" having bases and terrorist training camps in East Pakistan back then! But then again, after nominating IK to represent them in "Talks", the TTP would expect nothing less than for IK to protect them from any army action!

Here i cannot disagree with Mr Imran Khan, except for the failure of talks with Taliban's, the other issues he raised are worth considering. It really feels that Nawaz government is not afraid of anyone now. Mr Nawaz Sharif is taking too many liberties. He is accepting too much domination from the United states, and India also. And the domestic problems are mounting up with the passage of time. The most intimidating factor is the division of the country, and this is something really serious, and soon there will be repercussions, which are not acceptable at all. May Allah keep our nation under his protection.

IK is right in that there are many neglected areas of Pakistan and Waziristan is certainly one them.
The USA and the Federal government should be offering some financial relief to this area since it's become a target against innocent civilians whose homes are being bombed by drones on a daily basis. Many victims including babies are suffering from cancerous tumors due to this mindless war. A callous war which thus far has done nothing to make Pakistan safe.

Taliban will do the attacks again there is no use of negotiations, we just want militery operation so all terrorists will be killed and this bautiful country be in peace. North waziristan since long has been ruled by terrorists or strategic assets of our agencies, why Imran is not raising voice when a part of Pakistan is not under control of Govt. now when Govt. is trying to get back the area he is making hue and cry. 26/11 happened in India, allegations on Pakistan, continuous allegation on Pakistan, judicial proceedings, India protest that Pakistan is not doing anything and i was wondering why India is too stubborn why dont they let it go or just simply forget it, they were hardly couple of people. Soon I arrived at the point where I started to realize that India as a country is trying hard to get justice for his own people and is inevitable to make them forget. My Dear fellow Pakistanis IK is stubborn and its for good.

So doing another military operation will wipe off all Talibans ? that is not going to happen in a long time .Security situation is improving rapidly mainly due to the dialogues between government and talibans .The dialogues might not have been fruitful thus far but they have hurt talibans from inside ,they have created a partition among that clearly dented their main aim . Don't forget it was the military operation after all that put Pakistan in such a weak position , should learn from your mistakes instead of repeating them.

I do believe that east-Pakistan was culturally more similar to India than to Pakistan but they would have called themselves Pakistanis to this day had we given them just 10% of what they deserved. It was their vote that made Pakistan's independence possible. After all that their vote was made null and void in 1970 elections.

IK is the only politician who has the guts to call a spade a spade. Why has the establishment turned Pashtun lands into a perpetual Darul Harb? Why aren't they going after the Punjabi architects of this conspiracy?
Turning FATA into a buffer zone against Afghanistan and following colonial era policies of divide and conquer against the Pashtuns hasborne negative consequences for all Pashtuns and this madness has to end.
Dismantle the terror network of proxies patronized by the establishment that operate from Waziristan terrorizing Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand Line.
Integrate Pashtuns into the mainstream of Pakistani society by creating provinces and giving them political agency and the franchise.
Stop the fear mongering narrative, which propagates that India and Afghanistan seek to dismember Pakistan.
India and Afghanistan have a thousand mutinies of their own to deal with and they would both benefit from having a less paranoid and belligerent neighbor that looks inward and embarks on course correction.

IK should take a break & go for vacation, he needs to rest his mind. Comparing the situation in Waziristan with East Pakistan makes no sense. Pakistan armed forces alongwith with the entire population are fully capable of protecting each & every inch of our motherland from all type of interferences & agressions. The only option that should be given to TTP is to lay down arms & surrender. If IK is so concerned about the bombardments being carried out in Waziristan then he should use his good office to persuade TTP to declare permanent ceasefire & stop suicide attacks.
