Did Karzai blame Pakistan for it yet?

"Spring Offensive" - we hear the warnings but don't do anything about it! These attacks are not "surprise" attacks - they are well planned and the police and the military is informed about them. I fail to understand why then, they are not able to defend themselves, as I am sure they outnumber them in every way, and avoid these casualties. Could corruption be playing a role?

@independentthinker How does one protect or defend themselves from terrorism. Pakistan with its million man army gets victimized daily, I wonder if corruption is to be blamed.

@Zalmai Absolutely, it does! Why else do you think we cannot win this war? We have the manpower, we have the fire power and most of all (what Americans did not have) we have the support of the nation. The only thing holding us back is the "drive" - the motivation and that is because we put our interest first before our nation's interest. These enemies of our nation become our friends,because they fulfill our needs. and thus, we owe them favours in return and the job never gets done! My friend - that is corruption and unfortunately, we are not able to find a way out of it, because it is being done at the higher levels and it is the little guys, like our brave soldiers and civilians that have to pay the ultimate price!
