KARACHI, July 11: A man was shot and injured while resisting carjacking bid on Hakim Ibne Sina Road, near Nazimabad police station, Friday night.

Police said that unidentified bandits tried to deprive Mohammad Shafeeq, 42, of his car (Corolla 94) after intercepting him. He offered resistance but the gang fired a shot in his leg and escaped in the car.

He was rushed and admitted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
