BADIN, July 11: A strike was observed in Kario Ghanwar town on Thursday against the failure of civic agency to drain out stagnant water.

Shops remained closed and the citizens staged a sit-in at the Shaheed Fazal chowk.

The strike was called by political parties and the Shehri Action Committee, Kario Ghanwar. Local leaders said the water supply and sewerage system of the town had collapsed after rains.—BoC
