LAHORE, July 10: When buses start rolling again between India and Pakistan on Friday, they will carry not only passengers anxious to see relatives but also renewed hopes of an end to enmity between the two countries.

The number of confirmed passengers to travel by the inaugural Lahore-Delhi service has increased from six to 25. Seven foreigners are among the passengers, including three Indians.

Culture and Tourism Minister Raees Munir Ahmad will inaugurate the service.

APP adds: The service is re-starting after 18 months. The bus will cover the 500-km journey in 11 hours, with two halts en route. The old one-way fare of Rs950 has been retained. Immigration and customs formalities will be completed at Wagah border.
