Creek and Sunset share honours

KARACHI, July 10: Creek Club defeated Sunset Club to land men’s team title of Allied Bank Sunset Inter-Club tennis tournament at Sunset Club on Wednesday.

In the men’s team event final Creek Club outplayed Sunset Club 3-1 while in the Under-17 team but Sunset Club took revenge beating Creek Club 3-1.

Men’s Team Event: Creek Club bt Sunset Club 3-1: M.Uneeb bt Feroze 11-6,11-5,11-6; Asad Umer lost to Ahmer 6-11,10-12,11-7,9-11; Kasahan bt Mubasshir 11-6,15-13,11-9, M.Uneeb bt Ahmer 11-6,7-11,11-4,11-6.

Boy’s Under 17 Team Event: Sunset Club bt Creek Club 3-1: Asad bt Faraz 11-7,7-11,11-8,9-11,11-9; Hamza bt Ahmer 11-9,12-10,11-9, Kaseem lost to Fazal 6-11,9-11,8-11; Asad bt Ahmer 11-9,12-10,14-12.—PPI
