HYDERABAD: Hyderabad registered a massive win of an innings and 198 runs over Badin in a two-day match of the PCB Region Inter-district cricket championship at the Niaz Stadium on Friday.
Hyderabad declared their first innings at 359-3 after adding another 114 runs to their overnight score of 245-2.
Unbeaten Mohammad Fawad scored 103 with ten boundaries and three sixes off 96 balls and Daniyal Rajput remained unbeaten at 53 with six boundaries and one six.
Ali Hyder claimed two wickets for 102.
Badin were all out for 88 runs in 37 overs as Munawar Khan claimed 4-20 and Ibtisam Sheikh took 2-21.
Shaikh claimed six wickets in the match in two innings.
Earlier, an all round performance by skipper Khizar Hayat put Hyderabad in comfortable position against the visitors on Thursday.
Badin were all out for 73 in 37.3 over as Ibtisam Sheikh and Khizar Hayat Butt claimed 4-13 and 4-24 respectively. Asif Mehmood claimed 2-19.
Skipper then hit an unbeaten 112 to enable hosts score 245-2 in first innings and get lead of 172 runs. His century was laced with 15 boundaries.
Mohammad Fawad scored 61 not out with six boundaries and three sixes. Rameez Siddiqui scored 46 runs with four boundaries.
