HYDERABAD, July 7: The Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, here on Monday permitted a woman to live with a man whom she married at her own will.

Advocate Ayaz Hussain Tunio had submitted the case under section 491 Cr.PC before the court on behalf of Misri, stating he had married Pathani, daughter of Uris, on September 5, 2002.

The applicant cited Juman, district police officer (DPO) Sanghar and SHO police station Shahdadpur as respondents. He stated parents of woman were angry with their marriage, solemnized and registered through an affidavit. They wanted to marry her to some one else whose character was questionable.

He said the woman herself had declared this through a newspaper. The applicant said parents of his wife visited his house on June 15, 2003 and took her away as he was not present at home.

Then, he filed an application before the court of sessions Judge, which was rejected on technical grounds. He prayed the court to issue an order for the production of Pathani.

The court issued a subpoena and the woman was produced before the court on Monday on the last date of the hearing.

Ms Pathani told the court that she was married to Misri of her own will. The court allowed her to go with her husband.
