Upon which the court ordered the FIA to register a case and present a report to it on the issue.

A petition was submitted in which it was claimed that the controversial video of the couple which was leaked out and posted on the internet had brought disrepute to the nation.

The court after issuing of various summons to the couple and their repeated absence, had asked police in the last hearing to file a case against them and then inform it.

Meera had denied the video’s authenticity and called it as an attempt to undermine her position and credibility.
