BADIN: Quetta killings deplored

BADIN, July 6: Shops and markets remained closed in Tando Ghulam Ali of Matli taluka on Sunday to protest against the wanton killings of innocent people in Quetta in a terrorist attack.

On the call of the Anjuman Safina Ahal-i-Bait, Anjuman Azadaran-i-Islam and Asgharia Organization, a public gathering was also held at Chambar Naka in which town residents as well as a large number of people coming from adjoining rural areas participated.

Speakers at the rally, including Ghulam Nabi Qambrani, Abdullah Memon and Siraj Keerio, condemned the Quetta tragedy and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.

Meanwhile, heavy police force were deployed at religious places of Tando Ghulam Ali to avert any untoward incident.
