ISLAMABAD, July 5: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has banned the appointment of Indian teachers in Pakistani schools in the Gulf region.
Sources told this reporter that the FBISE made the decision after taking serious notice of hiring of Indian teachers in various educational institutes affiliated with the federal board. They said the board had issued notifications to all educational institutions, asking them to terminate the services of the Indian teachers.
There are a total of 48 Pakistani schools in the Gulf countries.
