RAJANPUR, July 4: Three Bugti dacoits were killed and two others sustained injuries in an hour-long armed clash with the Border Military Police (BMP) at Thingu on Thursday.

Two BMP men also received bullet injuries in the clash.

Political assistant Khalid Saleem got an information that some Bugti outlaws were present in their hideout near Nullah Thoyan in Nathal mountains. At this, he formed a 26 member team of the BMP who raided there, but the outlaws had already escaped after getting the wind of law enforcers. However, the raiding team recovered two tractors and as many wagons from there. Later, the political assistant aired the message to the BMP men at Jathru Pass to intercept the Bugti outlaws should they try to make themselves scare from there. Already on the alert, the 17 men BMP squad challenged the criminals at Thingu. Later, the BMP men killed three of them on the spot and injured two others after an exchange of fire.
