KHAIRPUR, July 3: A large number of Kot Diji residents staged a demonstration on Wednesday against the non-supply of drinking water in Nabi Hashim, Sadat and other localities.

They complained that the local administration was not providing potable water to their areas since last two months. They met with Taluka Nazim and demanded solution of the problem.

The ban came in force on July 1 and on its second day, people did not care about it. The administration so far has failed to impose the ban.

FAINTED: Koral Jogi and Khair Mohammad Bambhan fell unconscious after drinking tea at a hotel in Thari Mirwah on Wednesday. The police arrested three men, including the hotelier.
