SWABI, July 2: Two people were killed in separate incidents here on Wednesday.

Some people killed Jalil Khan of Shewa village and threw his body in the fields. The parents of the deceased said they had no enmity with anyone.

An Afghan refugee drowned in the Pehur Canal while swimming with his friends to beat the heat.

Despite demands by the local people, a fence has not been erected on the canal’s bank, which has resulted in a number of deaths.
